I really liked the principle of this film and I think important ideas were explored about beauty standards for woman regarding self loathing and aging. But I don’t think these ideas were explored past surface level.
Only because the same thing kept happening with the same shock for 2 hours and 20 minutes. I think it could’ve been done more succinctly.

We Live in Time 2024
Absolutely stunning film. Balled my eyes out. The structure and cinematography of the whole film was just beautiful and perfectly encapsulated the story and the emotions.
Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh were perfect. Their chemistry, the way they fully embodied those characters - I forgot I was watching a written script.
It was so sad, yet so empowering, yet rooted in full truth.
