Manchester by the Sea 2016
Incredibly sad. Mostly still shots and occasional zoom ins. Main character POV shots expressed through repetitive actions. Soundtrack depressing to match the tone. Cried twice. Absolutely devastating. More of a reactionary film based on a life event, with multiple flashbacks to illustrate the tragedy.
