Toni Collette and Naomi Ackie were fantastic. I wanted to punch Mark Ruffalo in the face. Overall it was fun but I wish the tone was a little more serious. I think Parasite was the first movie where Bong Joon Ho actually found the perfect tonal balance for himself. This feels like a little step back from it but I'm still excited to see what else will come from him.

I think it found a good balance of being both a spooky movie and a romcom. You all need to put Melissa Barrera in every single project to ever exist from now on. She steals the show in whatever she's in and this movie is no different. Perfect v-day watch ❤️

Words cannot describe how fantastic this film is. It has SUCH heart, beautiful visuals, and absolutely insane performances from both leads. Ariana is probably one of the best actresses we could have asked for to take on the role of Glinda. Her comedic timing is absolutepely perfect. Cynthia brings so much emotional depth to Elphaba and their chemistry is AMAZING. Half of the time all they have to do is look each other in the eyes and you practically know what they're saying. A nearly flawless adaptation of SO many different source materials. Jon M. Chu you should be SO so proud of what you've done.
