  Completely underrated banger of a film. All the Flanagan staples there, flicking between time periods, supernatural mystery, intergenerational trauma, Kate Siegel. So much more unique than you'd expect from a 2010s haunted house type film, with actually interesting believable characters and their debates on the reality of the situation, cool ghost hunting type shit, really effective suspense and some laptop wallpaper worthy shots, Flanagan has never made anything bad, and this was unexpectedly peak.

  Holy shit how does these have good reviews, this film had almost no redeemable qualities. The characters are annoying and cringey, the deaths are underwhelming and the ending twist, while yes surprising, actively destroyed any investment I had on the film (which was already next to none). Bodies Bodies Bodies is just unfathomably boring gateway “horror” (despite there being no horror elements at all).
