Twilight Zone: The Movie 1983
I saw this movie waaay too young, and I remember thinking even then how batshit crazy Joe Dante's It's a Good Life take was-so much so that some of its imagery has lived in my mind for 30+ years.
Upon revisiting this as an adult, it's evident that this movie as a whole is pretty unnecessary. Dante and Miller's segments are the strongest parts, but the Landis/Spielberg chapters are really hollow (especially if you know the tragic backstory of the stunt gone horribly wrong), and the glossiness put over the entire movie dishonors the original source material.Translated from by

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974
The final dinner scene with Grandpa and the rest of the family is the most disturbing, terrifying scene in a movie, period, and you can't convince me otherwise.
