I was worried going into a 3.5 hour movie. It’s true that it physically was a slog (I was so fidgety and my back hurt by the end), but mentally I was engrossed. All those Tiktoks with his daughter paid off - Scorcese’s unserious editing style captured my TikTok brain the entire time.

- I was entertained the whole time - I just love the Hunger Games universe.The Hunger Games is about a military dictatorship that controls the food, water and movement of a region, kills children to punish that region for a violent uprising, and runs an extensive propaganda machine to make ppl think it’s all okay. I don’t understand how you can root for Katniss and Lucy Gray, and then ignore what’s going on in the world right now. I really don’t!
