This was my mid-film thought:
The windows throughout are very interesting. Some noticeable moments: Adam (Andrew Scott) staring out of his childhood home when revisiting his parents, or meeting Harry (Paul Mescal) by watching him through the window. I liked the duality that these scenes presented, both a space of removed observation and invited introduction.
By the end? I’m conflicted. Is a love that was all fabrication worth shedding tears over?
