Was a bit disappointed around the end of act 1 but then it really kicks in.
Really unique, alot of style but certainly still substance. Top 3 Wes Anderson probably. Not sure if I enjoyed more on the second watch but I definitely understood it better now.

I think what makes it so fantastic is the fact that it is quite literally a fantasy had by the janitor - and yet there is still an immense and terrifying realness to it, owed in part to the main character seeming on the brink of being self-aware, almost breaking free with her questioning her nickname (and just name in general) when Jake calls her "Ames", or when she doesn't remember Jake…

Objects In Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear 2024
Pleased to be one of the first people to watch this thanks to the Youtube premier. And wow, the cinematography might be even better than Love And Death In The Dying Light Of Hong Kong. Great indie horror, slightly chilling but mostly just unique and enjoyable to watch. So many fantastic shots.
Wanna digest this before I rate it but this was awesome.
