i know rock faces guy didn’t have a lot to do with carpet, but i found him so much more captivating than the chosen main character. would have also loved to learn more about the carpet industry in its prime and the process itself, as other mentioned. maybe i’m just a nerd and i can accept that. will be thinking about the human labor of 20,000 steps on carpet squares for a long time…
