A Different Man 2024
So many thoughts about this film. It’s been a while since a film has made me actually use my brain and girl she was working overtime watching this one. So many awesome motifs and messages it left me critical, heartbroken, even introspective. Where do we draw the line between poaching someone else’s lived experience versus telling your perspective? (Ingrid really pmo.) As seen through the character Oswald, is life always what you make of it, no matter the obstacle? Or are there some obstacles that you just can’t overcome? I’m still not sure.
