  we needed waaaay less of the cheaters storyline and way more of just about everyone else. on a side note, i would love to see the ensemble romcom come back in the 2020s with newer actors 😕

  girl that first act was garbage! if this entire movie followed alongside the tone of that first act this would have easily gotten half a star but i think there’s some progression that bumped this up to a 1 star for me. this movie introduces an interesting subversion of tropes where instead the token brown character is the savior to the white character. the film also addresses mental health in a way that feels a bit more natural and real…
