A Real Pain 2024
A complete nullity. The movie promises a certain depth in the feelings it sets out to explore, but fails tremendously. Nothing is trully processed: when a potentially interesting reflection is brought up, it leads no-where or cancelled in the following scene. It manages to finish in the same place it started with the characters (and the audience) returning to their regular life apparently untouched by what they experienced. The banality of pain.
