I don’t understand the negative reviews. This movie is really fun. The musical numbers are amazing. The performances are incredible. The lighting is gorgeous. The story is a little simplistic, but it’s a good vehicle for the characters. It went deeper into Arthur’s psyche than the original and I liked it better. It almost seems like there’s some strange coordinated effort to hate on this movie and I don’t get it.
