When I heard about an animated film that had no dialogue, but won awards, I just had to check it out.
The body language and facial movements of the main characters gave all the dialogue I needed.
A beautifully crafted film, with brushstrokes as a note of the background of the animation gave it a really cute touch.
I appreciate the nod to the environmental issues apart of our world, and the feeling the ending gave me.
Definitely will watch again.

This film definitely lived up to the last one, with flying colors.
The jokes had a little more adult humor, and kept me giggling. The animation was gorgeous, especially during the climax of the films. I could see individual quills, and actual emotion in these cartoon characters.

The Substance 2024
At first, I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this movie, and it delivered me the unexpected, tenfold.
This film was simultaneously both psychological and body horror. From seeing the insanity society’s standards brought the main character, to the lengths one would do to grasp at a reality like that again, is definitely eye opening, and all too real.
The added detail of making every sleazy character a different camera angle, was a nicely added touch.
