As a big fan of The Crazies, I expected this film to be similar when I read the synopsis. I was very wrong. Although they may have a similar premise, The Sadness commits to the bit entirely, it goes absolutely full hog, at all times. The visuals were awesome, both horrifying and beautiful. However, I wish there was more thematically to sink your teeth into.
