  now THIS is how you make a modern jane austen adaptation.
  it basically re-interprets the period piece by perfectly combining the colorful fun of clueless (1995), one of the story’s most unique and influential adaptations, with the traditional period drama. 
  the use of the score and color palette to craft a light-hearted tone so that the situations and characters (*cough* emma) are made lighter and more likeable? MASTERFUL. not to mention the camerawork and blocking.
  everyone needs to watch Rama2.0’s “The BEST Austen Adaptation” and then come back to this movie
