I think I somewhat expected this movie to be super deep and sad or something. But it actually ended up being pretty chill and goofy. I would say my favourite part was definitely the soundtrack, especially "Bygone Days" (I'm even learning it now on piano haha). I was actually kind of confused about Porco's curse, and the ending of the movie. But then after some Google searches, I got it lol.

Absolutely phenomenal movie!!!!!
I finally watched this movie yesterday, and it had my attention grabbed the whole time.
The music, the character design and development, it was all so amazing, which is not surprising since it's Miyazaki and Hisaishi! There is something about how female characters are portrayed in all Miyazaki's films that is so refreshing compared to other media nowadays. In this movie, Sheeta (in a way) was the "damsel in distress" trope, however, it felt so much more…
So I watched this movie cuz I’m gay and I wanted a high school romcom for the queers… haha
This movie is definitely hectic and is a classic “bad high school rom com” vibe. Overall enjoyable, but I found the story to be quite random and over the top but I think that was definitely the point!
Definitely didn’t expect the ending to be the way it was. I’m just happy they made an entertaining lgbtq romcom! With a relatable awkward main character that has no rizz but gets the girl somehow lol.
(New celeb crush is definitely Havana Rose Liu)
