Words cannot describe how much I adore this film. Rewatching this every once in a while is truly like a self care ritual for me. It never fails to make me laugh and remember how much I love films.

As I've said before, this film is a love letter to the art of filmmaking.
Where "One Cut of the Dead" truly shines is in its third act but you have to pay close attention to the first two acts in…

Emma stone is one of the greatest actresses of this generation and I am saying this from the bottom of my entire heart. She is phenomenal. There is nothing to critisize about her performance, she was literally perfect.

This film is bold and provocative. Through absurdity, dark comedy and sincerety, it delves into questions about the human experience, womanhood and societal norms. In order to explore all these ideas, it uses the innate curiosity and desire for exploration as a narrative tool.
When the film ended, I definitely felt like I woke up from hypnosis.
