  interesting and funny and so beautiful aesthetically 
  BUT the message didn’t really hit for me here — was especially uncomfortable that the fiancé was the “good guy” at the end despite coercing Bella into marriage while she had the brain of a toddler ??
  I liked that this movie makes us uncomfortable and asks questions about agency — but was Bella liberated? what does personal choice mean? how is personal choice shaped? is this just a man’s idea of liberation?
