absolutely wanting to have a finger on the pulse about the cycles of abuse, what we’re willing to accept (knowingly or not), and what happens when the survivor then becomes the abuser. whether this was a good/bad directorial debut by Zoë Kravitz I think is semantics because it definitely makes you think afterwards!
honestly, amount of simping Frida was doing pissed me off. that’s simply just a MAN. I did want more slater backstory after he dropped that info towards the end. night terror scene definitely were giving callbacks to Greek myths. probably would have been a very good in-theater watch
