incomprehensible to me! comedies from foreign countries are often hard to understand and this is a weird sex comedy from 1991… and Hong Kong!
i was too without context to be anything but along for the ride. scenes played out bafflingly. what do you mean, you’re going to try becoming a movie star, lady cop? is this some kind of “you can’t fire me, I quit”? wow, she’s really having this conversation… without putting pants on? why is the Moon Monster…
cute! i expected deeper social horror. definitely more fun than scary, but i pretty much had a good time. i think the final freak out is downright nice.
two and a half slices of satanic pentagram pizza out of five. you may chillax to this horro film.
i literally don’t know why people don’t like this movie. Madonna and Willem Dafoe are both smokin hot and he’s the bottom.

let’s be real, loved ones: leftists, especially teenage leftists, are a rich vein for comedy.
we are a silly people. there are lots of funny jokes about us.
this movie has none of them. it’s just rote misogyny. it’s boring. it’s old.
for a while, i thought a woman, at least, had written it. nope. nope. not even that.
the only good thing about this movie is the boy/boy sex scene.
