  I will be rewatching this asap. 

  Wow it only took 123 minutes for a scene in Chinatown - which lasted 7 minutes. 

  The colour grading of this movie is insane, every element makes it feel so authentic to the ‘30s.

  My new favourite quote: 
  “Well to tell you the truth, I lied a little.”

  The last few scenes with Cross and especially this quote - “Most people never have to face the fact that at the right time and the right place, they’re capable of anything.” - have left me so unsettled. The writing is immaculate.
