  This film tries to be topical, satirising early sixties culture. At times it’s very dated and corny, but in today’s lense becomes a perfect time capsule of the 60s. 

  The main piece of satire is parodying women who were obsessed with Elvis Presley at the time. This sounds potentially harmful when in the 60s women were only just beginning to be allowed to express their sexual desires, but for the most part it doesn’t feel like it’s shaming these women.…

  Fuck this movie. This is without a doubt my least favourite movie I have ever seen. It was an absolute drag to sit through, but I wanted to see what all these positive reviews were all about.
