fair play to disney because this is actually heaps better than the 2019 remake. my main dislikes for the live action remake were the shot-for-shot recreation without any substance and the shocking lack of emotion. safe to say mufasa rectified both factors by a surprising amount. although the plot seemed a little basic at times, it kept me interested! it was really nice to delve into mufasa and taka's backstories respectively, and i thoroughly enjoyed the scenes with kiara. timon…
