Opus 2025
I guess I can understand why people didn't like this but I had a blast. Very weird, funny, and sinister. I didn't really know much about it going in and I think that helped, maybe. Whole cast is great, Amber Midthunder especially delivering a diabolical mute performance. I thought the concept and reveals were pretty well done. It's sometimes vague at times, but maybe that's part of the point. The ending was especially satisfying. I'll be thinking about it for…

Resident Evil: Extinction 2007
I didn't think I'd seen any of the sequels before but I have vague memories of Ali Larter and the final shot. I think I watched this at a friend's party years ago or something.
A lot more post apocalyptic than the others have been. They really upped the stakes. Things escalated fast.

Editing is great. Definitely do not watch this if you haven't seen the show, you will lose a lot of the context and the reveals aren't as…

Men 2022
Puzzling and polarizing but ultimately unique and effective. The message is on the nose, but damned if it isn't a great story and process. This is a solid crafted film and maybe it doesn't need to be any more than that. Wow, men who hurt women, how original. It's almost as if they're all the same.
