  one of the best documentaries I’ve watched. Skating can act as a sanctuary & honestly finding any activity that acts as an escape can be a lifeline. Incredible how it incorporates so many themes — the power of chosen family, breaking generational curses, unmasking toxic masculinity, and identifying healthy ways to cope. The transition from adolescence to adulthood is scary and tough and fast — occasionally you have to leave some people behind for the betterment of yourself and the other party, doesn’t mean you love them any less.

  Love the premise, camera work is creative & bold, and the soundtrack is filled with bangers. Story gets muddled here and there but hey, we got Lakeith, so all is forgiven (no pun intended)

  There’s no reason a giant robot should be making me this emotional at 12:38 pm on a Tuesday but here we are. Sidebar, but all of the animals on the island have bad taste in stickers — Roz was trying to give them quality keepsakes, but they all turned it down. I would’ve taken one in a heartbeat 😔
