The Batman 2022
I really liked seeing the classic villains penguin & riddler back in action. Gotham City looked & felt like Gotham City, and the main storyline really did have everything I could’ve asked for and more in a Batman reboot.
Wanted a bit more personality & character development with Batman. There could’ve been a robot inside that costume half the time for all I could tell. it sometimes felt a little bit like I was watching detective Batman, a spin-off TV show 🕵️♀️🦇
Lastly, they took dark very literally in this one. A little sunlight in the sequel wouldn’t be the end of the world

Gut spilling, bone crunching, throat slicing, head chopping badass Viking revenge story. Aspects of mythology, ritual, slavery, and much more were tied into this journey of fulfilling one’s personal legend and dying honorably. 2+ hours well spent in 10th century Iceland
