i like to think of this movie as a less joyful version of the goonies. it is such a powerful story about kids being kids and having to face maturity. i experienced every emotion you can possibly imagine while watching this. there were moments where i was laughing, tense, shocked, and everything in between. not to mention the brilliant soundtrack. these kids live the kind of life that i dream of: playing card games in a treehouse, going on an…
absolute masterpiece. i have yet to see a movie with an ending as shocking as this one. being completely honest, it took a second watch to fully comprehend everything because i was initially confused by the characters’ motives and connections. although this movie isn’t for everyone, it should be an example for every future filmmaker out there.

perfect buildup. i love how everything just fell apart right at the end. ngl the time jumps were a little confusing. it’s easy to see how christopher nolan became greatest filmmaker of the 21st century
