What a debut! Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel effortlessly creates an atmosphere of threatening absurdity. The story about an alleged incident between two children at a school that spirals out of control when school staff tries to mediate between the parents of the two boys, is constantly and seamlessly shifting between dark comedy, drama and pure horror. It weaves layer upon layer of both social and emotional implications leaving the viewer with a hint of doubt and a taste for more of Ullmann Tøndel’s craftsmanship.

A Different Man 2024

A story about identity, self worth and how to know the difference. Remarkable acting from Renate Reinsve, Sebastian Stan and Adam Pearson. A playful tightrope walk between horror and drama, with a charming indie vibe.
