Ridden with clichés of masculinity to the point of parody, and that shot of the building (you know which one) was the comedic cherry on the cake. The plot at times predictable but it’s an okay movie nonetheless. I just couldn’t take any of the characters seriously.

Prisoners 2013
The plot is wound up tighter and tighter across the movie, it's tense and gripping, but it unfurls in a disappointing and lackluster manner.
However, the film yields a tense atmosphere entirely throughout, yet the runtime is far too long; you end up looking back once it's over, wondering where the 2.5 hours were spent...
