The Human Condition III: A Soldier's Prayer 1961

"Michiko, I'm a murderer. These hands that once caressed you killed a man in cold blood. Just to cross the road to safety! Was I justified? Or was it wanton murder? Michiko, will you decide for me?"
The third part of this series is easily the best and most powerful part and the ending is just perfect. The best anti war movies are bound to have a sad ending to help prove the point and this series works it in perfectly.

Part of what makes this so emotional is the short runtime of the movie we only get to spend 58 minutes and then it is ripped away from us which relates to the short amount of time the main characters spend together.
