i wanted to like this movie more …
still pretty solid. just flat in some parts that did allow the emotion to build for me… i cannot BELIEVE eisenberg was supposed to play benji… i thought culkin brought a lot of charm and sensitivity to that role that eisenberg couldn’t have, but i also think he killllled his role as dave. i felt a lot more compelled by his complicated and stunted emotions towards life and grief and feeling and his cousin. neat how it worked out!
