Very beautifully made, the sets were BEAUTIFUL. Light and shadow were so nicely used, and i liked the compositions as expected of Wes Anderson.
It was silly, i liked the way they kept the Japanese language but used “translators” like in the news to translate when needed. There were no subtitles for the Japanese parts which was good i think, we solely understood the little pilot from the dogs’ point of view. Regardless of that we also felt compassion for him even if we didnt understand what he was saying for the most part. It was nice
