Sword Art Online: The Movie – Ordinal Scale 2017
It had some interesting exploration of AR tech adoption at scale. Also some meta conversations about VR vs AR. Visually interesting. Could make for some good B-roll if you're doing a futurist tech talk on AR/VR/XR.
I've seen all the SAO content, and the plot here is worse than most of it. Simple concept: scientist wants to "revive" dead daughter by training an AI with the memories of those who knew her. This got so convoluted and their in-world logic…
