This reminded me of being in my freshman year English class, listening to my professor drone on in class about how T. S. Eliot was the greatest poet ever. When I would do the reading assignments at night, I’d realize there was a gaping chasm between my experience of Eliot’s writings and my professor’s appreciation of them.

I walked out on this the first time I saw it in theaters, and after finally seeing the entire film, I can safely say that past-me made the right decision.
I went into this film thinking that it was going to be a quirky comedy, but it actually borders on a psychological thriller. The piece is very timely and integrates technology into the shots quite naturally - no floating text bubbles overlaid on the shot here. Some of the language/interactions were a bit "millennial" and I wondered if a slightly older viewer would understand the nuances of some of the scenes.
