Juror #2 2024
This was honestly going to be a 4.5, executed very well, although this film was dialogue heavy, it never got slow, the story was unique and felt real. But the ending wasn’t it, and that’s why it’s getting this rating. If they did the ending better, it easily could’ve been a top 100 of mine.

I love heist films and I loved the first one but I feel like they developed the actual heist plot lazily. I loved Donnie and the cops relationship. But the heist was a little sloppy. I wanted to see more set ups.

The Substance 2024
Camera work was exceptional and quite impressive. I actually took inspiration for future projects of mine. The story was good for a minute there and then it began to fall out. I don’t know what they were trying to do with the last third of the movie but it shouldn’t have been that. I see the vision, and the message, but this film could’ve been 45 minutes shorter, the unique story and characters started to burn out towards the end, but this film did an exceptional job at keeping you on edge for the first part.
