The premiss were interesting but it falls into a stereotypical sci-fi movie that I feel like I’ve already seen and while it’s still fun It lack to create an emotional attachment to the heroes.
The movie make fun of every characters and obviously Ruffalo’s characters is despicable but I don’t feel empathy for Mickey either as he is turned into a joke. Anyone can get what the film is trying to say but because you don’t feel for the characters it all feels a bit superficial.
