  I get the mixed reviews. I do enjoy a depressing coming of age story & the visuals are pretty. The transitions between fantasy & reality didn’t click w me that much. I did like how the fantasy scenes got darker as their romance progressed, but those scenes could’ve been more intense & longer. Maybe I just wanted this to be even more unsettling & unhinged bc that’s what the true girlhood experience is !! Men rlly are so scary!!!
