Wonderwall 1968
What if a peeping tom was the nicest boyfriend you could ever have? Or at least he thinks so. Very beautiful butterfly sparkle dream sequences, I want Jane Birkin’s diamond tights, I want her to have a better life with someone who loves her! Through the looking glass with a dash of old England fairytale magic and truly awe inspiring set design. Unsatisfactory ending because I wanted them to kiss but oh well.

“I was born in my trap, I’m used to it now.” Wonderful slow creeping picture, full of Hitchcock’s soft touch and swinging arcs of the camera as very minimal bloodshed still shocks the viewer. Except the second-to-last scene at the end (with the dumbass psychiatrist), this is a perfect movie for wondering what kind of terrible hobbies YOU’D take up if you had all the spare time in the world.
