Inside Out 2 2024
I always thought that a sequel to Inside Out would have potential, as Riley faces puberty there's plenty of story opportunities to dive in and explore new emotions. Pixar didn't disappoint with this one tho.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 2024
Planet of the apes might be one of my favorite sci-fi franchises because of how the first one, the classic one blends in interesting views of philosophy, existencialism and symbolism.
With the recent trilogy that ended with war for the planet of the apes, made a quite amazing re awakening of the franchise and showed us that the apes still have more interesting stories.

Wasn't expecting to almost burst into tears by the end of this movie, which is easily my favorite part of the film. But before I go deep into that, I wanted to say a few things.

Civil War 2024
Garland surprised me with this interesting, anxious and riveting film about war, but in a different lens, a more neutral side, which is from the eyes of war journalists.
Journalists in this movie are portrayed as soldiers as well, they follow orders and keep formation but also shoot, with the camera of course. Much of the composition frames the journalists "taking cover" while shooting pictures of the cruelty of the war they're living.
