Intriguingly satirical critique on the true crime doc industry; giving us everything and nothing simultaneously. Reaching so far and almost getting somewhere but not quite arriving– just as the failed doc accomplished in its final form. The contrived lack of action and the repetition of format accomplished what it was meant to, but I did get a little lost in the raw exposure of it at times. I still do appreciate how intentionally unimposing the approach to the storytelling is in this film.
