    A decent enough innings… art v commerce, sales v soul etc etc, but the styling and cinematography was definitely my bag. Not a huge fan of her art, and it’s hilarious that it took a drunken brawl to get it in the map, but has a very satisfying ending. Christoph maybe a bit too hammy, overusing his shit eating grin a few times too many, but Amy and Kristin were great.

    Complicated. My partner and I have been discussing this series, heatedly, since watching it.  Many topics, all of them relevant and important, under the umbrella of toxic masculinity and incel mentality, but suffers a bit due to its fancy one take trickery and sole focus per episode. Or maybe its success comes from that approach? I suspect and hope that this will be relevant for a while to come, that it will make a necessary impact, so maybe my nitpicking…

    I wish I could give this a minus 1.

    I also wish this movie was minus the lead character, a useless excuse for a sentient being, whose arc doesn't absolve him of the 30 000 people he could've saved early in the movie.

    Fx weren't that great either, particularly the water. And the monster looked like it could hardly move. My kid's plastic Godzilla action figures have more mobility! Great boobs, though.
