international premiere at the BFI Flare Fest!
genuinely funny in parts with great performances from min, and angela’s mother, to the point that i wish they’d leaned into the movie being an out and out comedy and pulled back on some of the more over dramatic sombre moments.
unfortunately the cousin was a pretty redundant character and feel like they could have done without those moments entirely.
but overall really enjoyable, really queer, and really funny.
