I see Zendaya, I know I’m gonna like it and this has yet to be disproven. A movie fuelled by tension both on the court and off the court. A lot is at stake for the trio. There’s desire, passion and deception littered throughout the film. You almost don’t know who to root for at times. Overall, a fun little film about a bromance gone awry and a woman determined to get her win.

The runtime for this was wild, it could have been condensed by removing filler scenes. Ultimately, it did not not need to be 3 hours long for the exact same plot to happen. I would describe it best as a love letter to old Hollywood. Genuinely went into this viewing clueless because the trailer offered little to no context. However, having seen it I can say the film illustrates the shift in Hollywood literally and culturally from the 1920’s onwards.…
