“I think I can handle it”
WOW. I haven’t had a rewatch in well over a year so it was time. I watched this with the lights off and a little bit of a buzz, courtesy of two hard ciders I’d been saving in my fridge for a good time. I’m showing it to Cait for kinda her first time. I love showing this movie to people. It kinda feels like the first time for me too, by extension. I notice so many more things and appreciate it so much.This will always be for me, and it will always take my breath away.

made to be seen at the theatre! I can’t remember a time at the movies where my heart has beaten THAT fast. Oppenheimer was such a divisive and complex person and this biopic captured it so well. Existential dread all around.
