in true colleen hoover fashion the beginning was cringe, as was certain portions of the movie. BUT as someone who has never read a colleen hoover novel in her life and doesn’t watch romance movies often this one actually rewired my brain. the plot twists, the cinematography, the acting. it was beautifully done, and i almost don’t want to read the book in fear it’d change my opinion on this story
