Better Man feels like Robbie Williams working through his past, which is fair—I hope it helped him. The film does a good job of showing how the media can completely shape public perception, making us rethink someone we thought we had figured out. That said, it definitely softens his arrogance, which was a big part of his persona. He seems to have a lot of self-awareness, but in the end, I’m not sure this movie was for anyone but him.
