I always feel ridiculous for giving such high ratings but I can’t give this anything less than what it deserves. Michael Stulhbarg is a fantastic leading man and his anxiety is so palpable. Love the monotonous suburban Midwest setting, as it really creates a great way to emphasize the tension and angst specifically in Larry and his son. Late to writing this but wow this is such an incredible debut for dir. Julio Torres. His writing and sense of humor are so sharp and witty yet it has so much heart. This film is probably one of the funniest I've seen recently and also serves as a fantastic commentary on class and the flaws of bureaucracy without being trite.
