The Fabelmans 2022
I don’t get the reviews calling this one a puff piece about how awesome Spielberg is. Sammy seems to be a guy who is so obsessed with the image that he neglects and avoids dealing with his realities. This is reflected in the stiltedness of the dialogue in what is meant to be a character-driven melodrama (imo the strongest parts of the film don’t involve talking at all!)
