  visceral!! icky!! this movie was sharp and biting, with sardonic humor mixed into a bleak 90s heroin aesthetic. it in no way glamorized what drug use- except for the many, many outfit slays.

  I wanted to love this so, so badly. The 90s teen cyberpunk aesthetic (they inexplicably rollerblade everywhere) and the ridiculous characters/ plot lines could’ve really been elevated into high camp. I just felt myself getting bored !! I feel like I both know more and less about hacking than whoever made this movie.

  Visually: stunning!! I wholeheartedly believe that the costume and set designers are going to get theirs during award season. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling both have great performances, but imo it was easier for Gosling to shine given his more comedic role. 

  This movie is ultimately fun and might bring up more important conversations if you were a young girl. After watching the movie, I’m still left searching for what the movie was really trying to say. You kind of…
